Autologous platelet and cell concentration at the point of care

Magellan is the Autologous Platelet Separator System from Arteriocyte Medical Systems, a one-source biologic concentrator and delivery platform. From a small sample of the patient's own blood, or a mixture of blood and bone marrow, the fully automated, closed system prepares platelet-rich plasma and concentrated cells in the clinical laboratory or directly in the operating room. Its proprietary BioAdaptive Processing tailors each run to the individual patient, giving consistent, reproducible results across operators and surgical settings.
